Job Description

We are looking to recruit a permanent Middle Office Analyst/ Gas Market Risk Analyst to support the Senior Manager in the control and measurement of all market, liquidity and credit risks by ensuring that sound controls and reporting is in place and that regulatory obligation and corporate policies and limits are respected.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily trading and the monitoring of all limits throughout the day. They will also be expected to reduce risk by enhancing controls and monitoring the transactions being executed by the market products function alongside other responsibilities.

This position involves working with a team, supporting a busy trading floor in a vibrant environment.

• Prior experience in a similar role within the Gas Market, other markets will be considered.
• Extensive knowledge of risk monitoring controls, including industry standard monitoring and reporting
• Knowledge of the Custody business model and Credit products and the risks inherent in each area
• Excellent knowledge of Financial Products
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Experience in report writing
